Duleep Deosthale, PhD

International academic institutions and student exchange programs specialist

Duleep Deosthale is, undoubtedly, one of the leading specialists in the world in creating and developing academic international programs. He has created countless programs in the best universities in the world for North American students. He is also an advisor to private and public universities. His mission at these institutions is to improve or create new programs that will attract a greater number of international students.

His work has taken him to over 100 countries and has generated unparalleled contacts in the most prestigious universities in the world. In addition to English and Spanish, he speaks another five languages.

He has worked in the educational arena during the past 20 years. He was Director of the Center for International Programs at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Assistant Dean, International Programs, at Marist College in New York. He now serves as president of Knowledge Exchange Institute in New York City, a company that designs academic programs throughout the world for US students. He also owns Global Specialists, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in marketing, recruiting and event planning.

Duleep Deosthale is also vice president for External Relations of the Association of International Education Administrators and a member of the board of the European Association of International Educators. He is also involved in the Global International Internship Congress. In the past, he has served in a variety of positions, such as advisor to the South East US – Korea Economic Conference.

He earned his doctorate at the University of California at Los Angeles. Duleep Deosthale was born in Malaysia and has lived in eight countries throughout his life. He currently lives in New York City.
