The most recent figures from the US Census indicate that 46.7 million Hispanics live in the United States. A great number of experts state that the number is probably much larger. These experts say that many undocumented workers evade Census canvassers because they are afraid to be reported to immigration authorities. The Census data also indicates that by the year 2042 non-Hispanic whites will no longer be a majority in the US. By then, the Hispanic population will have tripled to 132.8 million. Hispanics have the fastest demographic growth rate in the nation which continues to break predictions. Therefore, by the year 2042 the number of Hispanics will probably be even larger than is being forecast currently.

The relevance of Hispanics in the US is undeniable and cannot be ignored. It can be seen across all areas of our society. From farm workers to NASA engineers; from Cabinet members to Senators and Federal Representatives; from entertainment stars to sports personalities; from CEOs to media figures; from auto workers to small business owners; from decorated soldiers and veterans to scientists.  Hispanics are not only the future but the present of this country and everything indicates that their impact will be more relevant with each passing day.

The United States is the second country with the largest number of Spanish speakers in the world.  It is already ahead of Spain and only behind Mexico. Any corporation or organization that wants to succeed in this country has to reach out to Hispanics. Gato Communications is the best avenue to accomplish this.
